SOFA CHICAGO: 07-09 November The Chicago Design Museum is excited to announce that this year we will be a cultural partner of SOFA CHICAGO, the world’s premier art fair dedicated to Sculpture, Objects, Functional Art and Design. At Navy Pier 07-09 November with an opening night preview on 06 November, SOFA CHICAGO will host more than 70 galleries this year, including Illinois’ Ann Nathan Gallery and Gallery FW, and Australia’s Beaver Galleries.

The Chicago Design Museum is proud to present a selection of films from the Chicago Film Archives for a special screening night. As an extension of our first exhibition, Starts/Speculations: Graphic Design in Chicago Past and Future, each of the chosen films represents an area for future exploration, and another avenue for examining the role of design within our city and our lives.
